REPORT: Blacklisted: An Update (March 2014)
This is a follow-up to a report issued last June, which examined eight years of suspension data and showed significant racial bias in school discipline. This update shows that the inappropriate and discriminatory use of out-of-school suspensions – even at the elementary school level – continues unabated across Rhode Island.
