This is an open records lawsuit filed by the ACLU of Rhode Island in response to the City of Providence's refusal to release any documents related to its decision last year to bar a rapper from performing at a local night club.

Stern v. Weldon

This is a lawsuit filed in RI Superior Court challanging the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training's refusal to provide the ACLU any documents in response to an Access to Public Records Act (APRA) request related to the agency’s use of facial recognition software.

Martinez v. Coyne-Fague

This is a habeas corpus petition filed in RI Superior Court which argues that an inmate is unlawfully being held in prison despite a decision by the R.I. Parole Board to release him on supervised parole.
