The ACLU testified in April before the House and Senate Judiciary committees in opposition to legislation amending the state’s medical marijuana act.  The bill allows municipalities to impose onerous restrictions on medical marijuana growers, permits landlords to discriminate against their growing tenants, and bars individuals from being a primary caregiver if they possess any felony drug conviction and are not an immediate family member of the patient.
