This report is organized around 27 RI-based school rights cases since 1990. Each case began with a complaint from a student, group of students or parent and include a letter from the ACLU to school officials. They were selected because the events that led to ACLU intervention, and the civil liberties issues involved, are instructive of students‘ vulnerabilities in school settings.
