Access to Public Records Costs (H 5457)

This legislation would increase the hourly costs associated with an Access to Public Records Act (APRA) request from $15 to $25. This bill would also require any member of the public who is making these requests to pay any outstanding balances due before being provided copies of records and documents on a new request from law enforcement agencies.
