Join The Rhode Island ACLU
The ACLU needs your help to defend our basic freedoms.
The more members we have, the stronger our voice for liberty, justice, and equality.
Join with over 2,400 fellow Rhode Islanders in becoming a "card-carrying member" of the ACLU. You will automatically become a member of both the Rhode Island ACLU and the national organization.
You can conveniently and securely make a payment to join or renew your membership online.
Annual membership dues are on a sliding scale. The minimum is $20, and most members give $35 or more.
When you join, you will receive a membership card, subscriptions to the Rhode Island and National newsletters and invitations to social and educational events. You will also be secure in the knowledge that you are doing your part to protect the civil liberties of all people.
If you are renewing your membership, please select "I am renewing my membership" at the bottom of the page.
If you prefer to send a check, download our membership form.
Membership dues to the ACLU are not tax-deductible. To make a tax-deductible donation to the ACLU Foundation of Rhode Island (separate from membership dues), go to the donate page. Learn more about the distinction between these two components of the RI ACLU.
